Stay Safe During COVID-19

  • Everyday screening for our family members.

  • Visual wellness checks of all children upon arrival and health questionnaire during drop off.

  • Monitor family members and children throughout the day for any signs of possible illness.

  • If we or a child show signs of illness, we will give them a dedicated room and make them comfortable while we immediately notify our dear parents to pick up the child to help everyone stay healthy.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

  • Open windows to ventilate daycare before and after children arrive.

  • Use paper goods and disposable plastic utensils when possible.

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Limit the number of children at the daycare

  • Play outside, weather permitting.

What we do to stay safe in our daycare:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • Chills

  • Repeated shaking with chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Headache

  • Sore Throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

COVID-19 can cause more severe respiratory illness.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

Symptoms are wide-ranging and can be similar to the flu, including:

  • Individuals with compromised immune systems

  • Individuals who have serious chronic medical conditions like:

    • Heart disease

    • Diabetes

    • Lung disease

Who is at risk:

  •  Tell us about any symptoms (primarily fever, cough, difficulty breathing or other signs of illness within the last 24 hours) – that you, or someone in your homes, might have or if you have had any exposure to another individual with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases.

  • Take your and children’s temperatures before arriving to the daycare.

  • Wash your own hands and assist in washing the hands of your children before dropping them off.

  • Notify us if children have taken any fever-reducing medications in the prior 24 hours.

  • Enter and exit our kind home one person at a time to allow for social and physical distancing.

  • Immediately pick up your lovely child after getting a kind notification from us.

  • Please, keep personal toys at home during this time.

  • You are the superhero for your children. They love you so much. Show them how to practice social distancing and frequent handwashing while singing your child’s favorite song or counting to 20 (handwashing should last 20 seconds) and use a tissue to wipe their nose and to cough into their elbow.

Dear parents, we appreciate your trust and friendship as we care for the kids together, to stay safe during the COVID-19 crisis, we sincerely request that you:
